See?…
               From just beneath the wide horizon
               stream the morning’s
               clean reviving beams. 

Here,
now…
               amidst the blasted pastscape’s ash
               from yesterday’s disdain
               and shatterance, 

Life
thrives!…
               as from the wasted land,
               there rises up 
               a gutsy budding blade of grass.
