I was born in a cloud
Art credit - Alphonse Mucha - Winter 1896
I was born
in a cloud;
perfect
but flawed,
unique
and like all;
the Great Water
bonded round
the dust of stars,
wind-bourne,
sure to fall
then rise
once more,
ignited by
the elemental fire
from the one
who hears
me call…
maybe
I can help her
believe;
maybe
she’ll feel wonder
from me;
maybe
I’ll remind her
she’s part of everything;
maybe then,
her journey
will be less bewildering;
maybe,
when I reach her,
she’ll remember
her
native
way
of
being.
